PulseBoy, created by programmer Roger Hicks and animator Matt White, is a web-based musical sequencer that only uses 8-bit sounds and samples. It takes a bit of getting used to but there is a tutorial video to help you get started. I still wouldn’t say it’s the most efficient way to create chiptune but it is fun nonetheless. Either way we dig it. You should also check out their personal sites for some awesome art / gaming projects. [source: product hunt]
